19 September 2017: Six officials led by Shun-der Chang (second from left), Chief of Department of Agricultural Land Management Engineering, Agricultural Bureau, Tainan City Government visited the Center to explore possible cooperation on farmland management and utilization.

20 September 2017: Kuo-Ching Lin, Director General of the Food and Fertilizer Technology Center,  visited the Center to discuss topics of interest. (left to right) Yin-Fu Chang, World Vegetable Center Deputy Director General – Administration and Services; Kuo-Ching Lin; WorldVeg DG Marco Wopereis, and DDG-Research David Johnson.

21 September 2017: Tsuji Hiroshi (center), President and Tatsugae Shinichiro (left), Global Collaboration Division Manager from Osaka Prefecture University, Japan, and Ann Su from the Taiwan Department of International and Cross-strait Education, Ministry of Education visited WorldVeg HQ. They toured the Fertigation Greenhouse with Willie Chen, WorldVeg Agronomist/Plant Protection Specialist

25 September 2017: Ajeng Widhuri (left), Reporter and Yullisa Vebiyola Metinary (center), Camera Reporter from MNC Media, Indonesia visited WorldVeg headquarters. They were invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan to enhance understanding of Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy. Yung-kuang Huang, WorldVeg Genebank scientist, guided the visitors through the genebank.

27 September 2017: Roberto Ugas (right) from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Peru paid a short visit to WorldVeg HQ to discuss the Center’s current pepper research activities with Sanjeet Kumar, WorldVeg Pepper Breeding Scientist.

28 September 2017: Duc-Thanh Le (right), Chief of Science and Technology Division and Manh-Thao Nguyen (center) from the Vietnam and Economic & Cultural Office paid a courtesy visit to Yin-Fu Chang, Deputy Director of Administration and Services at WorldVeg HQ.
