Abstract

Call for abstract

  1. Please submit the abstract using this system. All abstracts must be written in English and must not exceed 300 words.
  2. The deadline for abstract submission is March 31th, 2024 23:59. Submissions received after this time will not be considered.
  3. It is your responsibility to ensure that all co-authors have given their consent to be listed on the abstract.
  4. Presentations can be in either oral or poster format.
  5. For oral presentations, the session chairs will choose abstracts for 10-minute talks in their respective sessions or as flash talks. You will be notified of the results via email.
  6. If your abstract is not selected for an oral presentation, it will automatically be assigned to a poster presentation.
  7. If your abstract is chosen for an oral presentation, you must complete your registration and make the payment by 2024 March 31st 23:59.

  2. Mechanisms of Resistance.
  3. Phenotyping Methodologies and Breeding for Resistance.
  4. Others- may be designated to a session by the organizing committee.

Guidelines

  • Abstracts need to be written using the provided template.
  • Presentations can be in either oral or poster format. Please select your oral or poster preference on the form.
  • If you are a student and wish to participate in the student competition, indicate your desire on the form.
  • Please name your abstract file as [PresenterFirstName_PresenterLastName], for example: Chaung_Wenpo.doc.
  • An author is allowed to present only one oral and one poster/infographic presentation.
  • Students are limited to entering only one presentation for the student competition.
  • Upon acceptance of your abstract for presentation, the presenting author is required to register for IPRI 2024.
  • Presenters who fail to present in person without notifying the program planner of cancellation may be ineligible to present papers or posters at IPRI meetings for a duration of two years following the “no-show.”
  • Each submitted abstract must be distinct. Violations of this policy will result in removal from the program.
