SEED KITS for the CITY

The WorldVeg East and Southeast Asia team presented 200 seed kits on 17 June to Thai City Farm, an organization promoting home gardens in Bangkok, Thailand for distribution to families across the city whose livelihoods have been affected by COVID-19.

On 2 July 2020, the World Vegetable Center Eastern and Southern Africa team welcomed Tanzania’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. Hussein Mohamed Bashe (left), to its premises in Arusha. Ralph Roothaert, WorldVeg Country Director for Kenya, guided Minister Bashe on a campus tour.
