Global Action Plan for Agricultural Diversification

The Global Action Plan for Agricultural Diversification (GAPAD) is an initiative to support the Sustainable Development Agenda (Agenda 2030) adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. At a recent roundtable forum in Nairobi, 40 participants from 14 countries met to begin developing a global action plan for agricultural diversification, which will contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero hunger. -- MORE --

The Global Action Plan for Agricultural Diversification (GAPAD) is an initiative to support the United Nation Sustainability Development Agenda 2030. Agricultural diversification will expand current food systems through increasing species diversity and creating a more resilient agriculture ecosystem that includes new crops for food and non-food uses.
