Rodelita Panergalin (Dearly) joined the Center in November 2025 as Grants and Research Contracts Manager based in WorldVeg's headquarters in Taiwan. Prior to that, she was at International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) as Program Manager and Program Finance Manager for more than 12 years and Business services manager for 2 years. At CIMMYT she received the 2023 Banziger award given to women staff members with exemplary performance in their field of work. Dearly also worked for almost 12 years in the Finance Department of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) where she contributed in the monthly and year end closing of the financial cycle, donor reporting and was in the Lead team who aggregated the CGIAR Centers audited financial report from 2005 to 2009. She also actively participated and led a chapter of her professional accounting organization where she was awarded as one of the ten outstanding Chapter Presidents in the Philippines back in 2008. Dearly loves to innovate to achieve efficiency and mentor people to share the knowledge and good practices and keep it spreading. She believes in always doing the right thing anytime, anywhere; facing the stresses and managing it and focusing on solution driven efforts.
