Sophia joined the Center since 2014 as Associate Specialist in the Virology
unit, later became Manager-Taiwan Projects and Virologist in 2018, and
Manager-Taiwan Projects and Administrator-Research Infrastructure in 2023.
She has extensive experiences in coordinating and managing projects funded
by the Taiwan government, and strengthening the communication between
the Center and partners/collaborators both within and outside Taiwan. She is
also an accomplished researcher with a strong background in collaborative
and independent plant pathology and biotechnology researcher for developing
new and improved crop varieties that are highly resistant to biotic and abiotic
stresses.
