Liz Ignowski joined the World Vegetable Center in April 2024. Previously she was a postdoctoral fellow at WorldFish Cambodia working on the CGIAR initiative on Asian Mega-Deltas with a focus on nutrition-sensitive agrifood systems. Her work included leading primary data collection activities in Cambodia on household food consumption and livelihoods as well as food vendors. Her other recent research studied the productivity of nutrients from different farming systems in Bangladesh and consumption changes and the affordability of nutrients over time in Tanzania. Her PhD research focused on intra-household decision-making in Tanzania and the dairy value chain in Uganda and Ethiopia.
