After a period as a communications consultant for WorldVeg, Nick (UK/France) joined full time in September 2023, and is based at headquarters in Taiwan. Amongst the world’s first cohort of agroforestry graduates in 1989 (Bangor University, UK), he spent a decade as a researcher before moving to science writing and editing at the turn of the millennium. His career includes periods with CABI, Crops for the Future, ICARDA, Green Ink, ILEIA and Tropenbos, interspersed with numerous consultancies for a wide range of clients from FAO and development banks to NGOs. He is also a carpenter, chainsaw trainer, and kept a smallholding growing all his family's vegetables for many years! Nick coordinates WorldVeg communications globally, with effective support from a team at HQ, and communications officers and consultants in the five regional offices and other countries where we work.
