WorldVeg, in collaboration with Tropical Vegetable Research Center (TVRC) of Kasetsart University, exhibited notable vegetable research and projects in celebration of the 80^th Anniversary of Kasetsart University at the Kaset Fair, which is Thailand’s largest agricultural fair, on 3-13 February 2023. They highlighted the importance of developing vegetable varieties with resistance to pest and diseases, improving postharvest handling and processing technologies. They also took showcased and promoted the consumption of vegetables for better nutrition and health, as well as the role of entomology research aimed at developing sustainable management strategies for vegetable production in the region.

Somchit Pruangwitayakun, vegetable trainer and Sopana Yule, entomologist, diligently provided advice for growing vegetables to those in need. Visitors were inspired to try their own mini home gardens to increase their vegetable production and intake.
