“Safe Vegetable Production”
Safe vegetable production benefits farmers, consumers, and retailers. Early- and mid-career professionals working in agricultural research, development, and extension with an interest in enhancing their knowledge of safe vegetable production are invited to apply for the IVTC course organized by the World Vegetable Center and Kasetsart University from November 13–24, 2023. Though it is focused on Asia, it is open to any interested participants from around the world.
This two-week course aims to give participants hands-on experience with safe vegetable production techniques. More specifically, it will inform participants about:
The training will be conducted at the World Vegetable Center-East and Southeast Asia Research and Training Station, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The course fee is US$2,500, which covers training, accommodation, meals, local transportation, excursions, and local health insurance.
