5 June 2017: 40 students from Min-Hwei College of Health Care Management, Taiwan in the Demo Garden.
8 June 2017: 40 students from National Tainan Girls’ Senior High School visited the Demonstration Garden with Visitors’ Coordinator Shiu-luan Lu.
8 June 2017: Maggie Tsai, a reporter from Unique Satellite TV, Taiwan, interviewed WorldVeg staff for a video production on agriculture and climate change.
14 June 2017: Taiwan’s Ambassador to Canada, Chung-chen Kung (center), met with WorldVeg staff to discuss topics of mutual interest. He was accompanied by Tracy Tarng (second from left), Section Chief, Council of Agriculture, Department of International Affairs.
26 June 2017: 18 students led by Dr. Irene Chou, Professor of Nutrition and Food Science, and Dr. Megan Chang, Professor of Occupational Therapy at San Jose State University, California, USA, learned about the analysis of the nutritional content of vegetables, and safe practices for gardening work from WorldVeg researchers and field staff.
6 July 2017: A delegation of 30 aboriginal farmers from Fangshan, Pingtung County, Taiwan met with Vegetable Researcher Ruby Hsiao.
