REPRESENTING BELGIUM: The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, Paul A. Cartier, visited the World Vegetable Center Eastern and Southern Africa office in Arusha, Tanzania on 17 April 2018 to familiarize himself with the Center’s activities. He also visited the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture’s Banana Project and the Nelson Mandela Institute of Science and Technology. He was accompanied by Tom Smis, Resident Representative – Belgium Development Agency.
