AVRDC Genebank Manager Andreas Ebert recently shared his experience and insight with International Innovation, a publication that disseminates advances in science, research and technology to readers worldwide.

In his article “Feed the World” published in Beyond 9 Billion: An Introduction to the Latest Strategies for Environmental Sustainability (International Innovation #155), Andreas highlighted the Center’s seed conservation and dissemination activities, discussed why women must be more involved in the research process to reduce malnutrition, shared some of AVRDC’s integrated crop management strategies, and explained the value of C4 crops such as spider plant in regions where temperatures are rising. He also took the opportunity to promote the First International Symposium on Moringa, 19-22 November 2015, in Manila.
