WorldVeg participated in the Taiwan Innotech Expo with the Taiwan Council of Agriculture from 27-29 September 2019 at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. The event showcased innovations in mobility, engineering, agriculture, and more. The WorldVeg exhibit highlighted Genic Male Sterility (GMS) pepper (Capsicum annuum), our new high throughput phenotyping system for agricultural crops, fruit of a new fresh market tomato hybrid, the APSA-WorldVeg Vegetable Breeding Consortium, and new online tool under development: ”Taiwan Indigenous Vegetables for Better Nutrition and Health.” Mandy Lin, Yuan-li Chan, Joyce Yen and Yun-che Hsu were on hand to answer questions and promote WorldVeg activities.
