School garden activities in Burkina Faso attracted the attention of local broadcasters, who interviewed Abdou Tenkounao, AVRDC Regional Director for West and Central Africa, and Mamounata Sandaogo Quedraogo, Inspectrice de l’Enseignement du Premier Degre, Ministere de l’Education National Burkina Faso, among others, about the Vegetables Go to School project. The project aims to address malnutrition among children in Burkina Faso, Nepal, Bhutan, and Indonesia.
