CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

The rapid spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has raised concern about the possibility of transmission at international events where large groups of people from many countries congregate.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the virus, the increase in virus-related travel restrictions, and the health and safety of our speakers, sponsors, partners and delegates, we are postponing Power On Your Plate: All-Africa Summit on Diversifying Food Systems with African Traditional Vegetables to Increase Health, Nutrition and Wealth to a later date, most likely in early 2021. We are committed to holding the conference in Arusha, Tanzania.

WorldVeg and partners are dedicated to bringing traditional vegetables to more markets, tables, and diets by integrating these crops into Africa’s food systems. We appreciate your continued support and patience and will keep you informed as Summit preparations evolve.

Please feel free to contact info@tav2020.org if you have any questions or feedback.

26 FEBRUARY 2020: As of today, the Summit has been postponed. Watch this space for the new dates!
