This year, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) held its bi-annual Board of Trustees meeting in East Africa. IRRI increasingly aims to work using a systems approach and is very keen to strengthen relationships with WorldVeg. On 2 October 2018, the Board, together with senior management, visited WorldVeg Eastern and Southern Africa for a field tour. The IRRI delegation spent a whole afternoon at the regional office learning about WorldVeg’s activities in the region.
