WorldVeg Deputy Director General – Research David Johnson attended the 2019 Taiwan Society of Plant Biologists (TSPB) Annual Meeting and Symposium on 23-24 November 2019 at Academia Sinica in Taipei. The symposium, New Visions in Plant Science and Sustainable Development, attracted participants from around the world. David delivered a keynote speech on “Vegetable Research & Development for Impact in Asia and Africa” at the invitation of Dr. Su-Chiung Fang, General Secretary of TSPB, and Shu-Chen (Stephanie) Kuo. Dr. Shih Ming-Che, Secretary General, Academia Sinica, introduced David to the TSPB.
